Section 8.6 - Multiplying Monomials and Polynomials
*When you add or subtract, exponents never change. *When you multiply or divide, exponents can (and probably will) change.
ex| 3x to the 4th times(2x+5)-2x to the 2nd times(5x to the 3rd -3x)
6x to the 5th + 15x to the 4th - 10x to the 5th + 6x to the 3rd
-4x to the 5th +15x to the 4th + 6x to the 3rd=final answer
ex| 3a to the 2nd b to the 4th(-4ab to the 2nd-6ab+7a to the 4th b to the 2nd)
-12a to the 3rd b to the 6th-18 a to the 3rd b to the 5th+21 a to the 6th b to the 6th=final answer
